Dan Mack started painting in #### when his late wife, Helen, suggested they buy a painting and he said “I can do that!”

A native of Binghamton, Dan has worn many hats. He has served in the US Navy, driven high performance cars, and worked as a chiropractor for the last 41 years. When he’s not painting, Dan enjoys woodworking and restoring antique furniture and clocks. He is a proud father and grandfather to three sons, one daughter, and six grandchildren. Dan lives in Brighton with his wife, Kim and their Sheltie, Mimi.

As an artist, Dan enjoys painting landscapes using pastels, acrylics and oils. His paintings reflect serene scenes of nature using a wide spectrum of colors. Although he prefers to paint in the early morning hours in his home studio, Dan has also been caught adding details to finished paintings between seeing patients.
