Lisa Zaccour

Lisa Zaccour was raised in Rochester NY, and was drawn to make art in childhood. She graduated from Nazareth College with a degree in Art Education.

She works primarily in oil and likes painting the still life genre. Lisa paints from life, and enjoys the hunt for items to fulfill a vision or theme. Relaying a sense of wonder using ordinary objects intrigues her. Each painting is an adventure to capture a certain mood.

Lisa has studied with artists Elizabeth Robbins, Katherine Stone, Nicora Gangi and Sari Gaby. She is a signature member of the Rochester Art Club and a founding member of the Main Street Artists, where she continues to paint with like minded supportive artists. Lisa has shown her work in many galleries, and has received numerous awards.
