First Friday News and more....

Thank you to all of our First Friday visitors!  We appreciate your business and support!  We hope you will return often because there will always be something new in our studio. With sixteen members and two adjoining studio spaces we are creating all the time.

Gabriele Lodder will be our featured artist for May. Here is a sampling of some of her new work:

The image on the left is a pastel, a new medium for Gabby but she has learned it quickly and it really fits her style. See these beauties in person during the May 4th First Friday event.

We are pleased to announce that some of us will be exhibiting and selling Italian themed artwork during the 2013 Hope Lodge Hospitality House Gala at Oak Hill Country Club Saturday evening, April 27th. We will donate 20% of our proceeds directly to Hope Lodge. A few of us are also donating artwork/giclee prints to their Silent Auction that evening. Hope Lodge is near and dear to our hearts as we cook dinner for the residents there once a month. It is a wonderful 'home away from home' provided to those who are getting treatment at Strong and don't live in our area. If you would like more information about Hope Lodge click on this link:

Our First Friday raffle winner will be announced tomorrow so stay tuned!  The winner will receive an art tile by Christine Waara.

There are many people who have skills and abilities and they want to become artist. They need to work hard to become artist. They can impress others with their good art work and can show their skills related to art.
