Rosemary Pergolizzi

There is infinite beauty and wonder in life. A desire to share experiences and observations becomes a need to draw and paint them. The artwork created then becomes an invitation for dialogue and further meditations for the creator and the viewer. They now can share a moment to collaborate together.

Rosemary received an Associates degree from Rochester Institute of Technology’s Fine and Applied Arts program. She then enrolled in Art Education at the University of Maryland and proceeded to receive a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s from Nazareth College.

Rosemary taught art at all grade levels in both private and public school systems in th Rochester area. These included Studio in Art, Sculpture, Drawing and Painting and Printmaking. Upon retirement after 30 yrs. of teaching She has returned to studio and Plein Air painting, mostly in oils, pastels and watercolor. Rosemary is currently a member of the Main Street Artists Studio at the Hungerford building, Studio #458. And yet time and identity is what you tell about as you create only while you create they do not exist. Gertrude Stein
